The Desert Lodge is part of the IHG Army Hotels chain, which are privatized hotels on-post. As such, statements of Non-Availability may not be required for military personnel to find off-post lodging; ask the gaining unit for verification on lodging policy. The Lodge offers both two-room suites and single rooms with a queen bed and private bath. The property offers microwaves, outdoor barbeque, full kitchen and on-site laundry facilities. There are designated pet rooms with a $75 fee. Shots and registration of the pet will be required. Availability may be limited; reservations are strongly encouraged.

If arriving after regular hours, individuals with reservations will pick up their keys from the Police Station Building 5240. Rates are very reasonable, and there are no restrictions on the length of stay at the lodge. Off-post facilities are also available in hotels and motels in the Tooele area located about 40 miles away.
